Abstract
This Decision, as in accordance with the provisions of the national Law on veterinary health, prohibits the import and transit of cattle and wild ruminants, seeds and embryos of cattle in Republic of Macedonia originating from the Republic of Bulgaria, in order to prevent the introduction of the virus of Lumpy skin disease. In order to prevent the introduction of the Lumpy skin disease virus, the import and transit of beef and wild ruminant meat, beef products and products shall be prohibited; and meat from wild ruminants, milk and dairy products of cattle, as well as by-products of cattle and wild ruminants in the Republic of Macedonia, originating from the following regions of the Republic of Bulgaria: Haskovo; Stara Zagora; Blagoevgrad. However, exemptions are possible if accompanied with proper certificates (see article 2 and attached forms in the Annex).
