Phytosanitary Policy Programme for 2023.

This Programme determines the amount of funds, defines related purposes and sets necessary methods for correct use of those funds aimed for the execution of different measure and actions that are required for functioning of the phytosanitary policy for the year 2023. The funds for the realization of this Programme are determined in the Budget of the Republic of North Macedonia. This text list related amounts next to different types of planned measures. The implementation of phytosanitary monitoring from parts VII, VIII, IX, X and XI of this programme is carried out by conducting health examinations, according to the plans for monitoring and monitoring of quarantine harmful organisms. The realization of the monitoring from parts XIII and XIV of this text shall be carried out by taking samples during import and in the facilities where phytopharmaceutical products are placed on the wholesale and retail market and taking samples in open fields or protected areas. The realization of the activities from part XV points 2, 3 and 6 and part XVI will be carried out by procurement in accordance with the Law on Public Procurement. The funds from this programme will be paid based on a decision by the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management after the implementation of designated activities.
