Regulation amending the Regulation on animal health conditions for placing on the market of semen, embryos and ova for artificial insemination, the method of record keeping, conditions in terms of staff, facilities, equipment and instruments, and other conditions.

This Regulation amends certain provisions part of the Regulation on animal health conditions for placing on the market of semen, embryos and ova for artificial insemination, the method of record keeping, conditions in terms of staff, facilities, equipment and instruments, and other conditions (originally published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia 3/2012).
Changes are related to several updates and modifications to the contents of article 23 concerning the health and sanitary procedures and necessary conditions for the entry into the collection center of facility; article 24 that treat the conditions for ordinary animal health examinations and tests that are performed in collection centers dealing with artificial insemination (animal reproduction); article 25 that is related to the conditions to be respected by semen/genetic material that shall be used by the above mentioned facilities; and other modifications to articles 29, 35 and 40. This Regulation further harmonizes the national legislation with the provisions contained in the Council Directive 90/429/EEC of 26 June 1990 laying down the animal health requirements applicable to intra- Community trade in and imports of semen of domestic animals of the porcine species; and other, see the end of page 1 of this publication.
