Abstract
This Regulation amends various provisions part of the Regulation on conditions for placing on the market of aquaculture, its purpose, and manner of official controls in marketing of aquaculture (Official Gazette 85/2013).
Major amendments are regarding the general definitions and denominations; and inspection and monitoring provisions.
This Regulation also changes the contents of the Annex II.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.

This Regulation contains the provisions aligned with the Chapter 7 and Annex 5 of the Council Directive 2006/88/EC of 24 October 2006 on health requirements for aquaculture and aquaculture products, and prevention and control of certain diseases in aquatic animals (CELEX number 32006L0088); with the last amendment by Commission Directive 2008/53/EC, CELEX number 32008L0053 and Part 1 of the Annex of the Council Decision 2001/183/EC of 23 February 2001 which prescribes plans for surveillance and diagnostic methods for detection and confirmation of certain fish diseases, which puts out of force the Decision 92/532/EEC, (CELEX number 32001D0183).
