Abstract
This Regulation amends certain provisions part of the Regulation on specific rules for food of animal origin (originally published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia 28/2016).
Changes are related to the partial cancellation of the paragraph 3 of article 8; added issues to the article 40 (hygienic requirements for the production of mechanically separated meat); several modifications to the article 95 (requirements for raw materials); added provisions to the article 96 (transport and storage of raw materials); completely re-edited article 98 (requirements for final products); and several modifications to article 100, 101, 102, 103, 104 and 104a (part of the Section 15 that sets the specific requirements for collagen).
This Regulation further harmonizes the national legislation with the provisions contained in the Commission Regulation (EU) 2016/355 of 11 March 2016 amending Annex III to Regulation (EC) No 853/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the specific requirements for gelatine, collagen and highly refined products of animal origin intended for human consumption; and other, see end of page 1, and end of the final page for full list.

Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force on the day after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Notes
The provisions of article 1 of this text shall start to apply 12 months after the date of its entry into force.
