Abstract
This Regulation determines the full set of special requirements for food of animal origin; special requirements for the measures or procedures necessary for the fulfillment of food hygiene targets; and general and special conditions to be met by all home based facilities for production, trade and use of food and of food of animal origin.
Article 2 provides for the list of exception.
This Regulation further harmonizes the national legislation as regards several European Union and Council regulation and directives as listed in the text (such as Regulation (EC) No 853/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2004 laying down specific hygiene rules for food of animal origin, and other, see the middle paragraph after the article 2).
Topic determined in this text are also regarding the following: full technical and spatial requirements and premises for food facilities; detailed hygiene requirements for each food type; technical and technological issues for food and food facilities inspections and examinations, especially for food of animal origin such as bee/apiculture products, poultry products, meat, milk, and fishery products, including related landing and fishing vessel and ship factories hygiene and technical conditions; labelling and marking of certain types of food, including live bivalve mollusk and other; frozen foodstuff requirements.
The Annex is part of this publication (reporting forms for the production of gelatin or collagen).

This Regulation enters into force on the day after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Notes
The provisions of the Chapter II of this Regulation shall be no longer in force on the date of accession of the Republic of North Macedonia in the European Union.
