Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the categories and their classification, functional groups of animal feed additives, criteria for declaring the contents of feed, minimum performance that have to be marked and described.
This Regulation will not apply to feed supplements (during the processing of animal feed) and to veterinary medicinal products.
This text is also aligned with the Regulation (EC) No. 1831/2003 of the European Parliament and Council of 22 September 2003 on additives used in animal feed (CELEX 32003R1831).
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
