Abstract
This Law sets all necessary rules and provisions aimed to govern the quality (animal health, feed residues), composition and various chemical and hygiene issues for raw materials and products used in animal nutrition (forage mixtures, enzymes, microorganisms and their preparations), including the additives and genetically modified feed, further defining the responsibilities of operators (also domestic trade, import/export) and mandatory feed controls.
The Law is divided into X Chapters and 109 articles, including offences and related penalties.

Regulation on the conditions for placing on the market of medicated animal feed, the form and content of veterinary prescriptions for medicated animal feed and manner of its issuance.
Regulation on requirements for animal feed operators at any stage of production, processing and distribution of animal feed and hygiene requirements for good practices for animal feed.
Regulation on categories and functional groups of additives for animal feed, declaration criteria, minimum performance requirements that will be marked, as well as description of additives.
