Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the specific additional requirements for supervision in aquatic animals based on risk analysis in order to determine the health and to upgrade the level of care of animal facilities dealing with aquaculture production.
This Regulation contains the provisions aligned with the following documents: Council Directive 2009/158/EC of 30 November 2009 on conditions of health protection in intra-Community trade and imports from foreign countries of poultry and hatching eggs (CELEX 32009L0158); Commission Decision 2006/605/EC of 6 September 2006 on certain measures for the protection in respect of Community trade in poultry intended to supplement the population of game (CELEX 32006D0605); Decision 95/410/EC of 22 June 1995 on microbiological rules for testing and sampling the holdings for live slaughter intended for export in Finland and Sweden (CELEX 31995D0410); Commission Decision 94/327/EC of 19 May 1994 on the criteria for annual testing of breeding poultry for Newcastle disease in accordance with Article 12 (paragraph 2) of Council Directive 90/539/EEC (CELEX 31994D0327); and Commission Decision 93/152/EEC of 8 February 1993 on the criteria for vaccines to be used against Newcastle disease (CELEX 31993D0152).
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.

Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force on the day after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Notes
The provisions of articles 9, 17, 19, 20, 21, 24 and 25 shall become applicable after the Macedonian entry into the European Union.
