Abstract
This Regulation specifies several processes and procedures for organic livestock production and farming, including the rules on minimum plots for accommodation of different types of live animals, and further determines the maximum number of animals per hectare.
This Regulation further transpose the principles contained in the Commission Regulation (EC) No 889/2008 of 5 September 2008 laying down detailed rules for the implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 on organic production and labelling of organic products with regard to organic production, labelling and control (also for the standardization of CELEX no. 32008R0889).
The Annex is also part of this publication (containing technical sheets).
