Regulation on the form, content and manner of keeping the records and databases on entities dealing with organic seeds and planting materials.

This Regulation prescribes the form, content and method of keeping the necessary records and related databases for entities dealing and handling with organic seeds and seedlings (production, processing, trade, import, export).
These records and databases will be kept in electronic form and under the authority of the Macedonian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy (containing various data on certified organic seed and seedlings as indicated by the provisions of the article 47 of the Law on organic farming, Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia 146/2009
This Regulation also transpose the principles contained in the Commission Regulation (EC) No 889/2008 of 5 September 2008 laying down detailed rules for the implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 on organic production and labelling of organic products with regard to organic production, labelling and control (also for the standardization of CELEX no. 32008R0889).
