Abstract
This Regulation determines the new official list of all animals, products and by-products of animal origin that are subject to mandatory documentary check, identity and physical and sanitary inspection and examination that has to be performed by official veterinarian inspectors on designated border crossing points of the Republic of Macedonia. This list includes live animals such as swine, sheep/goats, cattle, poultry, equine species, bees, inspects, birds, marine mammals and other fish and aquatic species.
This Regulation actually harmonizes the national legislation with the provisions contained in 2007/275/EC Commission Decision of 17 April 2007 concerning lists of animals and products to be subject to controls at border inspection posts under Council Directives 91/496/EEC and 97/78/EC; and Commission Regulation (EC) No 206/2009 of 5 March 2009 on the introduction into the Community of personal consignments of products of animal origin and amending Regulation (EC) No 136/2004; and other, see the end of page 1 of this text, and pages 41-46 for the complete list of reference documents.
