Abstract
This Regulation, based on the provisions of the national Law on waste management, prescribes the manner for handling with titanium dioxide waste (waste deriving from production processes), determines the manner of related monitoring and provides for the form, content and manner of necessary data submission. The purpose of this text is to prevent, treat, reuse and recycle to achieve prevention and reduction to the final elimination of titanium dioxide waste pollution and to ensure a high degree of protection of environment, life and health of people in the handling and removal of such kind of waste. The waste from the production of titanium dioxide should be recycled or disposed under the procedures that allow its reuse, by applying best available techniques.
