Abstract
This Regulation defines various provisions aimed to define the correct and safe manner and procedure for transit, imports, checks and inspection of consignments (or in transit on the Macedonian territory) of pets (also certain domestic live animals).
This Regulation contains the provisions aligned with the following documents: Regulation (EC) no. 576/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 June 2013 on the non-commercial movement of pet animals and annulled Regulation (EC) no. 998/2003 (CELEX No. 32013R0576) and Commission regulation on the implementation of the (EU) no. 577/2013 of 28 June 2013 on the model of identification documents for non-commercial movement of dogs, cats and ferrets, the establishment of list of foreign countries and territories and the format, layout and language for required declarations confirming the compliance with certain conditions provided for in the Regulation (EU) no. 576/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council (CELEX No. 32013R0577).
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
