Regulation on requirements for safety and quality of drinking water.

This Regulation prescribes the requirements for safety and maintenance of the necessary quality of potable or human consumption/drinking water, including the general requirements for safety and quality that cover the scope, type and methodology of drinking water tests and limits of harmful and dangerous substances, the manner of disinfection of the drinking water and specific safety and quality requirements related to the values in relation to microbiological parameters, chemical parameters, residues from pesticides, and additional indicator parameters.
The purpose of this text is to provide safe and clean water also in order to protect the population health from unwanted effects of possible water contamination.
