Regulation on special requirements for the safety of recycled plastic products and materials that come in contact with food, the procedure for approving the processes of recycling of plastic products and materials that come in contact with food and the labelling of recycled plastic products and materials that come into contact with food.

This Regulation prescribes the safety requirements for recycled plastic products and materials that come into contact with food. This text further determines the procedures for approving the processes of plastic products recycling and materials that come into direct contact with food, and labelling rules as regards the recycled plastic products and materials that come into contact with food.
This Regulation harmonizes the national legislation with the provisions contained in the Commission Regulation (EC) No 282/2008 of 27 March 2008 on recycled plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with foods and amending Regulation (EC) No 2023/2006.
