Abstract
This Regulation defines various technical and technological requirements and procedures necessary for the approval of quarantine, further prescribing the technical and technological requirements to be implemented and met by quarantine facilities, the duration of quarantine for isolation and duration of the quarantine for different species and categories, the duration of monitoring period, and the types of tests to be performed.
This text contains the provisions aligned with many Council Directives and European Regulations related to the practices defined by this Regulation.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.

Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the "Official Gazette " and shall apply from 1 January 2011.

Articles 2 (paragraph 1 and 2), 4, 5, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32 and 33 of this Regulation will entry effectively into force on the day of the Macedonian accession into the European Union
