Regulation on the type of logging mark, the type of forest mark for logging mark, the method of performing the logging mark, the form and content of the record book of the logging mark performed in a state-owned forest, the record book of the logging mark performed for felling in a privately owned forest and the record book of forest damage done in a state-owned forest.

This Regulation prescribes the type of logging mark, the type of forest mark for marking logging-timber, the method for application of such logging mark, the form and content of the Record Book of applied logging marks in a state-owned forest, the Record Book of mark for felling in privately owned forest and the Record Book of forest damage done in a state-owned forest. Selection and marking of timber for felling and recording of marked wood mass during stem cutting and marking of trunks in groups during group selective cutting as well as marking of the cutting area and recording of the wood mass for felling during surface clear cutting is done with logging marks. The mark for felling can be stem, group and surface in accordance with approved special plans and criteria for forest management. Stem marking for felling is carried out in cases where the felling of individual trees is foreseen, i.e. approved. Group designation for felling is carried out in cases where selective felling is foreseen, i.e. approved. Surface marking for felling is carried out in cases where clean felling is foreseen, i.e. approved according to the planning documents, namely: low-stemmed forest management; reconstruction of degraded forests; reclamation and resurrection cuttings; cutting for the conversion of forests and forest land (construction of facilities in forests, forest roads, power lines); fire stations; damage to the forest from natural disasters (except in high-stemmed forests).
