Abstract
These Regulations lay down requirements with respect to labelling and packing of fertilizers and with respect to their content. They shall apply to products which are marketed as fertilizers and designated as EC fertilizer . The designation EC fertilizer which may only be used for fertilizers listed in the First schedule and complying with the conditions laid down by these Regulations and their Schedules. Regulations 3 and 4 set compulsory and optional labelling and marking requirements. Regulation 5 concerns the closure of packages. Regulation 6 provides for verification of compliance in accordance with Commission Directive 77/535/EEC. Regulations 7, 8 and 9 specify criteria regarding the content of active substances in fertilizer and related labelling. (10 regulations completed by 5 Schedules)
