Abstract
This act provides for the implementation of measures announced in the Budget Speech 2021-2022 and for matters connected. Notably, it amends several Acts related to agriculture and environment, such as the: Environment Protection Act; fisheries and Marine Resources Act; Food Act; Forests and Reserves Act ; Mauritius Agricultural Marketing Act; and the Mauritius Cane Industry Authority Act. The Act also repeals the Fishermen Investment Trust Act.
