Fisheries and Marine Resources (Licence and Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2022. Government Notice no. 273 of 2022.

These Regulations, made under sections 74(1)(k) of the Fisheries and Marine Resources Act, no. 27 of 2007, provide for the amendment of Second Schedule of the Fisheries and Marine Resources (Licence and Fees) Regulations 2013. The amendment concerns the replacement of a paragraph concerning the settlement of disputes between Mauritius and France concerning Tromelin and its surrounding waters, including its EEZ. The Regulations affirm the sovereignty of Mauritius over Tromelin and its waters, and mentions International Court of Justice and International Tribunal for the Law of Sea pronunciations on the matter.
