Abstract
For the purpose of implementing the provisions of section 34 A of the Environmental Quality Act 1974, the Order lists in the Schedule the activities to be considered as prescribed activities and therefore subjected to the environmental impact assessment. The activities belong to the following sectors: agriculture, airport, drainage and irrigation, land reclamation, fisheries, forestry, housing, industry, infrastructure, ports, mining, petroleum, power generation and transmission, quarries, railways, transportation, resort and recreational development, waste treatment and disposal, water supply.
