Abstract
This Decree consolidates and republishes the National Agency for Environmental Quality Control (AQUA) under the Ministry of Environment. Amendments establish the institution responsibilities such as: developing the research indicating the levels of environmental pollution and guaranteeing the interpretation of the main environmental component data in the sustainable development of natural, terrestrial and marine-coastal resources; adopting and implementing measures to improve the research, monitoring and control of the environment; carrying out inspections on the use and enjoyment of land, implementation of land-use planning, operation and utilization of forest resources and control environmental quality.
