Abstract
This Decree, composed of 11 Chapters divided into 118 articles and two Annexes, approves the Regulations for carrying out Petroleum Operations. It establishes the procedures for the exercise of the right of petroleum operations through a concession contract, to ensure that all petroleum operations are conducted in a systematic manner and conditions for supervision comprehensive and coordinated, being applicable to petroleum operations and any certificated infrastructure or held by dealers or third parties used in connection with petroleum operations under the petroleum Law, approved by Law No 21/2014 of 18 August, and even regulating programmes, plans and evaluations, oil operations management, requirements to carry out operations, in particular with regard to the environment and safety at work, drilling operations and other related activities, emergency requirements and contingency, development and production of oil. It also deals with related offences and penalties.
