Abstract
This Ministerial Order approves the Statute of the Provincial Delegations of the National Administration of Fisheries (ADNAP). The Statute, consisting of 5 Chapters, specifies composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned provincial institutions entitled to: design and submit the Provincial Delegation plan of action to local level, coordinated with the ADNAP; guarantee the implementation and monitoring of the plan of action; carry out technical scientific programmes, in coordination with the different areas of ADNAP; guarantee the management measures on fisheries; collect, systematize, keep and disseminate information on management and monitoring of fisheries sector; guarantee the process of collection abd analysis of data on fish caught; guarantee the licensing of fishing activities and their control; promote and guarantee the functioning of a participatory management of fisheries sector; cooperate with the Provincial Governor and the National Government, according to the Regulation on State Local Legislation, approved by Decree No. 11/2005. These Provincial Delegations aim at guaranteeing at provincial level the competencies of ADNAP related to management and monitoring of the fisheries sector. The Statute is divided as follows: General provisions (Chap. I); Organic System (Chap. II); Functions of Organic Units (Chap. III); Composition of Provincial Delegation (Chap. IV); Final provisions (Chap. V).
