Fisheries Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 1998 (B.R. No. 38 of 1998).

Regulation 4A of the principal Regulations is amended: (a) in paragraph (1)(b), by deleting the words "controlling the fishing industry" and substituting the words "exploiting certain marine resources specified in the licence"; and (b) by inserting a provisions which authorizes the Minister to impose such conditions as he or she thinks fit on a licence issued under the Regulations. Section 22 is completely rewritten. This regulation authorizes the Minister to revoke a licence the term or condition of which was violated or in relation to which the offence was committed.
