Abstract
This Order enforces ban to shoot and/or catch large whales in the Greenlandic fishing territory. It provides regulations on hunting methods and vessel measurements for these activities. Capture of minke-whales is only allowed in the period of 1 April to 31 December with the exception of their newborns, which cannot be hunted at any time. If catch of fin- or minke-whale is found not to be fit for human consumption due to disease, or the like, the Minister for Fisheries Region and Fishing shall consider if a fishing license is used, in which case the capture is considered valid.
