Abstract
The Order applies to commercial shrimp-fishing licence which may be valid up to a year and whereby vessel size requirements adhere to Act No. 203 of 18 May 1977.
Shrimp-fishing licences include requirement for fishing vessel crew to be at least 70% of its total and consisting of individuals residing in Greenland for at least 2 years having fishery as their main source of income. The license also include requirement of permitted area, catch quantity and time restrictions. Licences by vessels larger than 80 GT shall specify total allowable catch; if reached, notification to suspend fishing activities shall be given by the Directorate of Commerce via radio and press
