Abstract
This Order applies to commercial cod-fishing license. Vessel size requirements are in adherence to Act No. 203 of 18 May 1977 regulations.
Vessels measuring more than 80 BRT shall be subject to fishing licence specifying total allowable catch, permitted geografic fishing areas and period of fishing. All information must be registered and submitted to the Greenland Fishing Licence Control (GFLCK). Vessels shall also consist of a minimum of 70% crew individuals having residence status in Greenland for the past 2 years and having fishing activity as their main source of income.
