Abstract
This regulation of the Government of Greenland requires businesses engaged in commercial fishing with vessels over six meters, as well as land-based processing and receiving facilities, to report their annual production and financial information to the Department of Fisheries. Reports must be submitted electronically by 1 July each year, verified by a registered or state-authorized auditor, and include details specified in annexes. Processing facilities also provide annual statements of transactions, including turnover and payments by species. Non-compliance results in fines under Greenland’s criminal law, applicable to both individuals and legal entities.
