Abstract
These Regulations regulate fishing by foreign fishing craft in the exclusive economic zone of Tokelau.
The Regulations provide for the licensing of foreign fishing craft to fish in the exclusive economic zone. The Regulations set out: procedures and requirements to obtain a licence; licence conditions; licensing fees; etc.
The Regulations further provide for: prohibition on the trans-shipment of catch; prohibition on possession of driftnets in the territorial sea and in the exclusive economic zone; offences and penalties; etc.
Entry into force notes
These Regulations enter into force on the day after the date of their notification in the Gazette.
