Abstract
This Act contains rules relative to the registration, placing on the market, control and use of veterinary drugs as defined in article 1. Registration of drugs is compulsory pursuant to article 2. Articles 3 to 13 make further provision for registration and related matters. Articles 14 to 17 concern approval of single lots of drugs. Articles 21 to 28 provide rules concerning the granting of permits for and regulation of the preparation, packing, labelling and supply of veterinary drugs. Articles 29 and following concern placing of the market and keeping in store of drugs. Article 32 to 36 concern (use of drugs in) medicated feedstuffs. Remaining provisions concern importation and exportation of drugs, medicated feedstuffs and substances that can create infections affecting animals.
