Regulation on genetically modified organisms environmental management, no. IenM/BSK-2014/88344 of 2014.

This Regulation, implementing provisions of Environmental Management Act, and of the Decree no. BWBR0035090 of 1 April 2014, containing rules with regard to the contained use and deliberate release into the environment of genetically modified organisms, provides for the contained use and deliberate introduction into the environment of genetically modified organisms, and applies to those who carry out an environmentally polluting activity. The Regulation concerns: storage of genetically modified organisms; biological safety measures; restricted use; designation of categories of physical containment, risk assessment and classification; deliberate release of genetically modified organisms for defined purposes, and environmental protection measures; deliberate introduction by placing on the market of genetically modified organisms and provisions concerning the use of authorised products.
