Abstract
The scope of the Act is to create cooperation in the field of marketing of meat, dairy products, eggs and selected seeds, cultivated and non-edible products. For this purposes a Marketing Council is established. The Council consists of 15 members who represent various organizations listed in section 2. The Council is established within the Department of Agriculture and Forestry. Remaining sections of the Act provide the possibility to the Department to intervene in marketing of agricultural products in accordance with the central agricultural agreement. Levies may be imposed on milk and other products so as to ensure funds for interventions. (17 sections)
