Abstract
The Act consist of 22 sections which are divided into 5 Chapters: Application sphere of the Act (I); Plant protection substances (II); Substances and preparations for various other use (III); Penal and enforcement provisions (IV); Entry into force; transitional provisions (V).
The Act applies to plant protection substances and substances and preparations for various other use. "Plant protection substances" is defined in section 2. They are substances for which it is advertised that they can protect against plant pests and diseases. "Substances and preparations for various other use" are products which are intended for another scope but which may have plant protection characteristics or which may enhance plant protection characteristics of other substances regulated under the present Act. The Act provides rules relative to the production, importation, trade, storage, and use of plant protection substances.
