Abstract
This Decree provides for the certification of poultry farming activities by county veterinarians in order to prevent the spreading of infectious diseases in poultry. Certification shall be applied for and applications shall be handled in accordance with rules contained in paragraph 1 of the Annex. An activity, in order to be eligible for certification, shall meet all requirements set out in paragraphs 2, 3 and 4 of the Annex. Requirements for installations and operation of a poultry farm are contained in para. 2A, and for hatcheries in para. 3B. Paragraph 3 contains general rules regarding animal health control, and paragraph 4 contains rules relative to control of diseases. Certificates may be withdrawn temporarily or definitively if these conditions are not met during operation. (7 sections and 1 Annex)
