Abstract
This Decree lays down rules for the use of the district quotas for the fishing for cod as established by Decree No. 1664 of 2005 to regulate fishing for cod, haddock, coalfish north of 62 N in 2006. It prescribes the compulsory places of landing and district quotas for groups of fishing vessels classified according the maximum length of the vessel. Only up to a specified maximum of fish shall be landed at the prescribed places of landing. The Decree further provides for selection of vessels, periods of fishing, redistribution of quotas, bycatch and supply of fish to indicated production establishment and relative pricing of fish.
