Abstract
This Decree applies to fishing by vessels of Iceland north of the 62nd parallel between the 12 and 200 nautical miles zone calculated from the baseline of Norway and the fisheries zone of Jan Mayen. It regulates fishing in the Norwegian Economic Zone north of the 62nd parallel and fishing for young Norwegian herring in the Norwegian Economic Zone north of the 62nd parallel and the Fisheries Zone of Jan Mayen. The vessels concerned are allowed to fish in total 238.399 tons of herring of which 44.361 in the Economic Zone of Norway. Trawling for cod with 135 mm mesh respectively 120 mm mesh is forbidden in certain areas, as well as fishing for argentines with small mesh trawls. Fishing seasons and bycatch are prescribed.
