Abstract
This Decree prohibits the sale and use of enriched animal proteins in feed for livestock animals, except milk and milk products, gelatines of other animals, dicalcium phosphate and hydrolyzed proteins. The aim of the Decree is prevent the transmittal of Spongiform Encephalopathy in livestock animals. Special provision is made for the use of fishmeal. It shall also be prohibited to import from or export to countries of the EEA any enriched animal proteins to be used in feed for livestock animals.
