Abstract
The purpose of this Decree is to establish measures that contribute to effective and competitive placing on the market of meat produced in Norway. The public company Norwegian Meat is appointed as market regulator for purposes of this Decree. The company may provide financial aid for various measures to support the proper handling of meat including long-term storage. The market regulator shall compulsorily purchase meat.
