Abstract
This Decree prohibits in principle fishing by vessels of Sweden in the Norwegian EEZ but grants Sweden for 2011 the right to fish a specified total allowable catch south of 62nd parallel in a zone between the 12 and 200 nautical miles calculated from the baseline of Norway and west of a straight line between Lindesnes and Hansholmen of: cod, haddock, mackerel including bycatch, coalfish, whiting/pollack, industry fish including a bycatch of horse mackerel, herring, shrimps and other kind of fishes on a traditional scale. Bycatch of mentioned fish species shall be included in the quota. Bycatch of mackerel in herring fishing shall be limited to 10 percent. The Director of Fisheries may issue directions regarding reporting. Offences shall be punished pursuant to sections 8 and 9 of Act No. 91 of 1976. Assistance in fishing or attempt to fish shall be regarded as fishing.
