Abstract
Article 1 prohibits in principal fishing for Greenland halibut and anglerfish by Norwegian vessels in the zone of the Faeroe Islands. Article 2 allows a total allowable catch for Norwegian vessels fishing with nets of 75 tons of Greenland halibut and 25 tons of anglerfish. Article 3 deals with application for participation in fishing by vessels and article 4 maximum quotas for vessels which may be fixed by the Directorate of Fisheries. Article 6 concerns the redistribution of catch quotas. Article 7 gives powers to the Directorate to stop fishing if quota levels are reached. The Directorate may fix a last sailing date and establish further rules regarding reporting and other matters of practical character. (8 articles)
