Abstract
This Decree of the Department of Fisheries allows fishing for shrimps in the territorial waters and inner waters of Svalbard by vessels that traditionally fish for shrimps in the inner waters, territorial sea and fisheries protection zone of Svalbard, i.e. vessels flying the flag of Canada, Faeroe Islands, the Russian Federation, Greenland, Iceland, Norway or one of the member States of the European Union. Participation quotas of each country shall be decided ad hoc. Illegal fishing shall be punished in accordance with sections 8 and 9 of Act No. 91 of 1976.
