Decree No. 748 of 2003 placing restrictions on navigation in marine waters, rivers and lakes.

Section 1 defines the application sphere of the Decree. This Decree applies to all motor-driven vessels as defined in section 3 of Act No. 51 of 1984 relative to navigable waters and ports. Vessels shall be constructed or adjusted in such way as not to cause any damage to the coastline, aquaculture installations, etc. (sect. 2). Local measures to restrict navigation may be taken by authorities of maritime districts in accordance with section 17 of the Act. Other provisions concern exemptions and dispensations and prescribe offences and penalties. (8 sections)
