Abstract
The text of the Decree consists of 24 sections divided into 4 Chapters: Scope, application sphere and definitions (I); General requirements relating to importation and exportation (II); Additional health requirements for the importation from third countries (III); Final provisions (IV).
The Decree aims at the prevention of spreading infectious diseases in relation with importation and exportation of living poultry and hatched eggs. General requirements concern approved breeding establishments, requirements regarding poultry and eggs, transport and health certificates. Chapter III contains specific requirements in relation with importation from countries other than EEA countries. (24 sections completed by 1 Schedule listing countries from which importation of poultry and eggs is allowed)
