Abstract
This Decree is composed of 27 sections divided into 4 Chapters: Application sphere (I); Lightning of buoys (II); Reflecting materials (III); General provisions (IV).
It applies to fishing by Norwegian vessels in marine waters under Norwegian jurisdiction. Chapter II lays down requirements for the lightning of buoys in respect of the placing of lights, colours, materials, weight, batteries, etc. Buoy lights shall be sent in a least two samples to the Directorate of Fisheries for approval (sect. 12). Chapter III lays down quality requirements for reflecting signs.
