Abstract
This Decree contains instructions for supervisory authorities relative to the control on food items made from animals originating in countries other than those being members of the European Economic Area, for purposes of protecting the health of man and animals and to safeguard the external and intrinsic quality of those goods. The Instructions contain a variety of rules relating to, among other things: health control by official veterinaries and registration of official import documents. The Decree applies also to fisheries products.
