Abstract
This Regulation regulates the fishing for Greenland Halibut as main catch and bycatch in the areas of the fish protection zone of Svalbard. It prohibits fishing of bGreenland Halibut as main catch by Norwegian and foreign commercial fishing vessels. The maximum percentage of bycatch shall be 7 percent of Greenland Halibut. Offences shall be punished in accordance with section 8 and 9 of Act No. 91 of 1976 relating to the Economic Zone of Norway. Assistance in fishing or attempted fishing shall be considered as fishing.
