Abstract
This Regulation prohibits to engage in fishing and hunting with vessels flying the flag of EU Member States in the Economic Zone and the fishery zone around Jan Mayen between 12 and 200 nautical miles from the baselines. Notwithstanding the prohibition vessels flying the flag of EU Member States are permitted to fish these quantities in the Norwegian economic zone north of 62 N between 12 and 200 nautical miles from the baselines: a) 23 002 tons of cod, b) 1 200 tons of haddock, c) 2 550 tons of saithe, d) 18 261 tons of mackerel in ICES area IIa or IVa, e) 500 tons of redfish, f) 50 tons of blue whiting, (g) other species as bycatch. Chapter 3 lists authorized marine fish total allowable catch in the Norwegian economic zone south of 62 N.
