Abstract
It is prohibited to engage in fishing and trapping to vessels flying the Icelandic flag in the Norwegian economic zone and the fishing zone around Jan Mayen between 12 and 200 nautical miles from the baselines. Notwithstanding the ban, vessels flying the Icelandic flag are permitted to fish these quantities in the Norwegian economic zone north of 62 N between 12 and 200 nautical miles from the baselines: a) 8 158 tons of cod and b) 2 447 tons of other species as bycatch. This quota may only be taken as a bycatch in fishery for cod. It is allowed to have up to 20% by weight of redfish from each catch and in the catch landed.
